Sentebale has received a $50,000 grant from Newman's Own Foundation to support our work with Lesotho's HIV positive children.
Kedge Martin, Sentebale CEO says:
We are hugely grateful to Newman's Own Foundation for this generous donation. It is going to make a significant difference to our work with Lesotho's orphans and vulnerable children. This money will go towards our Mamohato Camp in July - a week long camp for HIV positive children which cultivates peer group education and helps the children to grow, develop and live healthily with the infection and to reduce the spread of the disease.

The grant has been announced by Bob Forrester, president of Newman's Own Foundation. Newman's Own Foundation is a private, independent foundation established by Paul Newman that continues the commitment of Paul to donate all net profits and royalties earned from the sale of Newman's Own products to charity.
Bob Forrester, president of Newmans Own Foundation, said:
Paul Newman summed up his philosophy about giving in a simple statement: What could be better than to hold out your hand to those less fortunate than you, or in any way use your good fortune to help make our world a better place? Newman's Own Foundation is pleased to be able to partner with Sentebale and support its program.
Since 1989, Paul Newman and Newman's Own Foundation have donated over $7.5 million to various charities in the UK and Ireland.
