Sentebale is one of eight fortunate charities to benefit from the proceeds of Concert for Diana. The concert was hosted at Wembley Stadium by Princes William and Harry on July 1st to commemorate the life of their mother Diana, Princess of Wales.
A crowd of 62,000 gathered to watch the concert live at Wembley Stadium, and it was watched by millions on television around the world.
The concert raised an impressive £1.2 million for charity, at least £150,000 of which Sentebale will receive.
This is a significant amount of money for Sentebale, and will be a dramatic help in improving the lives of children and young people in Lesotho.
Sentebale is set to benefit further when a DVD of the Concert for Diana goes on sale on November 5th, as all eight charities will share the proceeds.
The double DVD contains over five and a half hours of viewing with personal playlist options, and a behind the scenes documentary with previously unseen interview footage.
